Alarming Footage Reveals Moment Law Enforcement Are Stabbed in Ambush
One police sergeant who jumped to the aid of a colleague that got attacked by a blade-wielder was granted the King's Commendation for Valor.
Sgt Tim Ansell grappled with 27-yr-old Jacob Brown following he pressed a knife to the throat of his partner Sgt Marc Foster.
Brown began the violence as the law enforcement personnel and their colleague, PC Marcus Wolstencroft, were conversing to a driver after a road collision in Whalley Range in summer 2023.
Brown knifed and cut both Sergeant Ansell and Sgt Foster prior to Police Constable Wolstencroft incapacitated him with a stun gun.
